Notice: independent performance of the work
Portland Water Damage Restoration operates a telephone line and an online request form for water damage in Portland, Multnomah County and neighboring Oregon and Washington communities. Portland Water Damage Restoration does not itself extract water, place drying equipment, clean, demolish or repair. Each accepted request is referred to an independent, licensed local company, which contracts with you directly, sets its own price and bears sole responsibility for its workmanship, equipment, safety practices and insurance.
Neither Portland Water Damage Restoration nor this website holds or claims any contractor license, registration, bond or insurance policy. Oregon contractor licensing is administered by the Construction Contractors Board, and Washington registration under chapter 18.27 RCW by the Department of Labor & Industries. We have not established whether extraction and drying alone fall within either regime, and nothing here should be read as saying they do or do not. Plumbing, electrical, roofing and sewer repairs are separate trades.
The license or registration number of the company assigned to your job is available by phone: call (833) 490-5225 at any hour, or ask the technician who contacts you. For reasons of privacy it is not published on this website. Prices are confirmed in writing before work begins, and whether any loss is covered is decided solely by your insurer.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Oregon is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
